BongoPOS only provides calculations of your business. It does not perform automatic taxation on receipts and does not remit any taxes directly to the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) or any other authority. To issue legally valid fiscal receipts, you must use a TRA verified EFD (Electronic Fiscal Device) machine.
Account information (name, email, phone), business information you provide (store details, products, customers), and usage data needed to operate the service.
To provide and improve the service, process transactions, send notifications, provide support, and secure your account.
We use encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls, and regular backups. Your data is never sold to third parties.
You can export or delete your data at any time. Contact us to exercise your rights.
